Paris COP21

The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is a convention signed in the Environment Conference in Rio in 1992. The goal of this agreement is to stabilize the atmosphere and to avoid global warming exceeding 1.5°C on average, aswell as to continuously monitor and evaluate actions and the situations of countries in climate issues.

The International Conference participation United Nations (e.Conference of Parties) was first

held in Berlin. It has been held every year since the year 1995 and at the end of the year 2015 the conference held place in Paris. There the "Paris Memorandum of Understanding (Paris MoU)" was presented, which is a rather new agreement in climate issues.

The goal of the Paris MoU is: "all countries should stand up and significantly reduce the emission of Greenhouse gases, deal with the consequences of change and finance for green solutions and help countries that are under a great stress due to change."

The conference will gather leaders worldwide with the goal of reaching a legally binding and comprehensive agreement on climate issues. Once the agreement has come into force, the functions of the countries will be evaluated anew every five years. However in 2018, two years before the agreement takes effect, studies will be on what countries have done to reduce the effects of global warming and this will be assessed again anew before the agreement will take effect. So the objective of various nations is to make big changes for the year 2025 and then improve themselves even more for 2030.
